Document replacement for licensees and non-profits affected by disasters
If a natural disaster is declared, the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) will help replace any lost, damaged or destroyed documents for the industries we licence and charities and not-for-profits we register.
For free, we will:
- replace your destroyed licences, ID cards or certificates
- replace destroyed non-profit group rules
- give you an extension on any new applications or renewals
- waive late fees.
You’ll need to contact us in writing with:
- your name or your organisation’s name (as it appears on your licence)
- your licence or registration number (if you have it)
- the details of what happened.
